Our mission, Opening Hearts and Minds Through Music, embodies our aspiration to address social and political issues of importance to the LGBTQ+ community, women and all marginalized persons. We are proud members of GALA, an international organization of diversity choruses founded in 1975 whose affiliates include 190 choruses from the U.S., Mexico and Canada.

Boise Chorus singers are adult volunteers from a broad array of orientations, genders, generations, journeys and spiritual beliefs, all with a passion for creating choral music that moves and inspires. We provide a caring and safe environment for all our members and staff, both past and present, who have become a second family to us. We also have a scholarship fund to provide memberships for those experiencing financial hardship.
